Overview of Services
Alongside our robust residential support at Lifeskills Orlando, our outpatient services offer an extensive selection of care alternatives for adults with challenging mental health conditions. Participants can begin in these programs right away or shift to them from more advanced care settings. We trust that every individual can gain knowledge, advance, and heal, so we commit to readying our clients for thriving after their care journey.
Therapeutic Strategies
Our services are founded on evidence-supported interventions, community involvement, practical skill-building, and family assistance. Each Clinical Pathway is guided by expert clinicians with advanced credentials, who develop customized plans to promote enduring wellness. Clients also engage in sessions focused on daily life skills, such as job application techniques, interview practice, meal preparation, budget management, and similar activities. Lifeskills features eight Clinical Pathways, selected based on diagnoses to include primary and secondary options along with supplementary therapies. These pathways encompass: 1.) Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) 2.) Cognitive Remediation Therapy (CRT) 3.) Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) 4.) Trauma Management 5.) Substance Use and Co-Occurring Conditions 6.) Metabolic Health 7.) Psychiatric Care 8.) Community Engagement.
Support Levels Offered
We provide two distinct outpatient options that enable clients to enhance their independent living abilities while assuming greater responsibilities. Our partial hospitalization program (PHP) acts as an effective bridge for those moving from residential treatment or seeking to avoid hospital admissions, giving clients more autonomy to apply acquired skills in everyday scenarios with continued therapeutic structure. Programming occurs in a supportive environment, with clients residing in their own accommodations five days a week or in our peaceful, gender-divided residences seven days a week. Our intensive outpatient program (IOP) supports individuals facing escalating symptoms or limited progress in standard outpatient care, delivering enhanced assistance to build a strong base for improvement. In IOP, clients attend sessions three days per week, and we are pleased to assist with finding appropriate housing if needed.
