Therapy for Heroin and Opioid Dependency
We aid individuals and communities in addressing the effects of opioid dependence. Peace Club arose from a pressing necessity, with many friends and neighbors having passed away due to opioid-related issues or remaining caught in cycles of addiction. Our focus is to draw from the top elements of the addiction industry and include what we feel is absent: prioritizing quality above convenience, innovation over standard approaches, and people over financial gains.
Our Treatment Strategy
Trauma Sensitive: intense events can influence how we connect with the world, ourselves, and others. We advocate for addressing trauma using proven methods to promote recovery. Mindfulness Oriented: We apply Mindfulness-Based Relapse Prevention as a core framework for attaining sobriety and sustaining the recovery journey. Biologically Grounded: We recognize the evidence that addiction and mental health conditions can disrupt neurobiological functions. Healing of the mind and body occurs through sobriety, proper nutrition, medications, and various wellness practices. Dual Condition Management: Addiction is often linked to or worsened by mental health issues. In addition to opioids, we focus on treating Anxiety Disorders, PTSD, and other related substance and behavioral dependencies. Experience-Centered: Journeys, spiritual travels, and purposeful missions have long been tools for personal change... and we continue this tradition. Community-Oriented: Ultimately, recovery and growth thrive within nurturing relationships. It's evident that isolation and monotony frequently accompany addiction, much like in broader societal contexts.
What Sets Peace Club Apart
We are among the few programs in the United States exclusively dedicated to Opioid-Specific Dual Diagnosis Treatment. Transformative Activities form the heart of our methods. Options like nearby Freedive Retreats, trips to Central America, Surfing, Yoga, and Meditation serve as tools for fostering change. We hold that inspiring environments matter greatly, as they enhance feelings of well-being and instill a sense of serenity and respect in the treatment process. The surroundings we inhabit affect our emotions and perceptions, so we design areas that allow for rest and motivation.
