Our staff of Black, African American, Asian, multicultural, and LGBTQ+ counselors comprehends the specific hurdles faced by those from different backgrounds. We deliver empathetic and culturally responsive support for concerns including racial trauma, anxiety, depression, PTSD, immigration pressures, adoption matters, neurodivergence, ADHD, autism, childhood conduct issues, and overall stress. Our experts focus on offering customized help, such as couples sessions and assistance for polyamorous arrangements. We utilize evidence-backed methods like Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), trauma-oriented therapy, mindfulness exercises, and Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT) for PTSD, within a protected and affirming setting. We are currently open to new patients with openings in after-school hours! Therapists of Color New England supports an extensive array of individuals, such as young children, adolescents, young adults, older individuals, households, partners, non-conventional partnerships, the LGBTQIA2S+ population, and BIPoC groups. Our group of therapists, including those who are Black, African American, Asian, from mixed cultures, and LGBTQ+, recognizes the distinct obstacles experienced by people from varied heritages. We provide caring and culturally attuned assistance for challenges like racial trauma, worry, sadness, PTSD, relocation-related pressure, fostering, neurodiversity, ADHD, autism, kid behavior difficulties, and tension. Our specialists deliver personalized guidance, such as relationship therapy and aid for multiple-partner dynamics. We apply research-supported approaches including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), therapy centered on trauma, awareness practices, and Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT) for PTSD, all in a secure and validating atmosphere.
