We address issues with a range of substances, such as cannabis, opioids, alcohol, nicotine, sedatives, cocaine, methamphetamine, hallucinogens, and additional types. Furthermore, the program handles accompanying mental health concerns, including ADHD, anxiety, depression, PTSD, and bipolar disorder. It is well-suited for young people, adults, and families, whether they are initiating recovery or progressing from inpatient or residential treatment, and it welcomes clients who are self-funding, covered by private insurance, Medicaid, or Medicare.

Available evidence-based methods at WJCS encompass: Invitation to Change, Encompass, Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) for Substance Use Disorders, Seeking Safety, Integrative Harm Reduction Psychotherapy, Wellness Recovery Action Planning, SMART Recovery, trauma interventions, and others, all while respecting individuals' aims, whether focused on harm reduction or complete abstinence.

The impact of WJCS' services is evident in the lives it touches. Since 1943, WJCS has delivered behavioral health support to Westchester County residents. Our inclusive access policy, along with culturally sensitive, empathetic, and trauma-informed services and superior evidence-based programs, has established us as the preferred provider in the area. Our Intensive Outpatient Substance Use Disorder Treatment Program offers a robust care package that includes group sessions, individual and family counseling, peer assistance, and psychiatric services. Upon finishing the program, participants can transition to WJCS' Encompass Treatment Program for ongoing support, including peer services, psychiatric care, and regular individual therapy targeting substance use and related mental health issues, aiding in the full realization of their goals. Additionally, family members of those affected by substance use can access our CRAFT program for their own support, helping them and their loved ones achieve enduring and significant improvements.
