Customized Care Strategies

We hold that effective interventions for adolescents facing psychological challenges and accompanying substance dependencies must be tailored to their developmental stage. Our housing program delivers age-suited dependency care for individuals aged 10-17. To assess each adolescent's requirements, our care team examines their history, signs, and living situation. Using this data, specialists create a personalized recovery plan for every participant in our housing programs. An integrated treatment plan could involve medical support, drug oversight services, and counseling that addresses helpful topics like emotional control, resilience techniques, and school-related stress. Beyond offering research-supported care to aid recovery, we aim to foster academic achievement. During their time in our housing program, adolescents can join our accredited private school, The Village Academy, to maintain their education.

Our Facility and Environment

Village Behavioral Health is situated in Louisville, Tennessee, near Knoxville. Our grounds span 65 acres of private terrain in the foothills of Great Smoky Mountains National Park, on a peninsula along the Tennessee River. This peaceful location offers an excellent space for adolescents to concentrate on their recovery. We have crafted our site and activities to include outdoor experiences that might not be available at standard residential centers. Our property features a complete adventure course and a pool. For those dealing with dependencies, we have a 12-Step initiative called THRIVE that conducts frequent gatherings. Participants in our housing programs are divided into groups according to age and gender. They reside in spacious cabins nestled in the woods with plenty of natural wildlife.
