Details on Our Outpatient Facility

At the White Deer Run center in Allentown, Pennsylvania, we provide an intensive outpatient program designed for those needing more structured support than typical outpatient care but less than full inpatient treatment. Participants in our Allentown intensive outpatient program will explore subjects such as understanding the condition, building recovery foundations, managing high-risk scenarios, integrating mental health with recovery, focusing on physical wellness, using humor in healing, family dynamics in recovery, relationships during rehabilitation, criminal patterns and recovery, stress coping strategies, and personal values in the recovery process. Individuals in this program can select either the daytime or evening schedule. The daytime option involves sessions on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays from 10:00am to 1:00pm, and then from 1:00pm to 4:00pm. The evening option occurs on the same days, from 6:00pm to 9:00pm. These timetables may adjust according to participant requirements.

Our Center's Intake Procedure

At White Deer Run, we appreciate the courage required to seek assistance, so we strive to make the intake process efficient and straightforward. Individuals pursuing treatment can reach out to a local site directly or contact the National Resource Center anytime, day or night. To start, potential patients undergo an initial screening evaluation (varies by site) followed by a detailed in-person review. During these evaluations, our specialists collect relevant history, analyze it, and determine if White Deer Run suits the person's care needs. Insurance verification can occur during this phase. Although each program has specific entry criteria, all locations mandate that applicants must primarily have a substance use disorder. While we handle co-occurring conditions, the substance issue must be the main focus.
