Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP) and Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP)

Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP), also called Day Treatment, involves full-day sessions five days a week from 8:30 to 3:00, Monday through Friday. This option suits youth who require more than weekly individual therapy but do not need residential care. Our PHP includes thorough clinical support via individual and family sessions, group activities, hands-on therapeutic experiences, and a structured daily routine, with participants returning home each evening. The program is grounded in Dialectical Behavior Therapy principles, focusing on mindfulness, coping with distress, managing emotions, and building interpersonal skills. Additionally, Lumos Youth Counseling's PHP offers educational assistance and tutoring to help teens advance in school while receiving necessary treatment. Intensive Outpatient services (IOP) are ideal for youth attending school during the day, providing afternoon sessions for continued support and community involvement, along with family check-ins and support groups to benefit everyone involved.
