Life doesn't always work out the way we planned. We experience disappointment, loss, relationship issues, self-esteem problems, difficulties with our kids, problems with our spouse, and so much more. Sometimes we become overwhelmed, stressed, depressed, confused, or angry. At Alarus we understand this and we know how to help. We offer fresh perspectives, new opinions, and helpful feedback through individual, family, or group therapy sessions. We also offer alcohol and drug abuse services to help people struggling with substance abuse, substance dependence, gambling, and other addictions. Services are also offered for persons with OUI and other legal issues, and for those who need a Drivers Safety Plan. Counseling sessions can be individual, group, or a combination of both. For individuals with more severe problems, we also offer an Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP). Our mental health and AODA staff works with our on-site and community based physicians to prescribe appropriate medications. By working with these doctors, we are able to offer Suboxone and Vivitrol treatment programs.
